A lot happened this month: I had a personal shopper, I went to Turkey. The monthly theme was Portrait, so I took some portraits in Turkye as well. Oh, and my suitcase got lost! (Photographic collage)

As an exercise for myself, because I rarely shoot people. I also asked everyone to mention “something”, with which they most identify themselves. The blog posts have both images combined, in the gallery the photos are put separately.

It is said: it fits me like a glove. This is likely to be for Eric’s leather jacket. He calls it his own armor, because the jacket can stand upright when set down.

Introduced through twitter, but soon enough we discovered IRL that we almost were neighbors in the past. Kind, attentive, knowledgeable.

Lieke

Missing in the previous list: collector. Lieke thinks she is a parasite on the creativity of others, but I just think she gives others so much space, that they can get a result.

The wife of Hans, support and anchor of many, big heart, lover of beautiful things, bridge player. Partner in crime where investing is concerned.

When I got acquainted to Ad he played the bugle, now it’s a keizerbas (sorry, don’t know the English word, emperor’s bass?) of almost 100 years old. Isn’t it wonderful the way the buttons are worn down by the fingers?

With Ad I could experiment during taking the picture. Such fun to do. Extra light, a falling hand, nothing was too crazy.

Hans educated me as a graphic designer. We used to have  a WATrelationship (Working Apart Together), which was unique – we had the keys to each others studio, shared customers and sometimes our staff.
